Email and Mailing Lists

We send our email newsletters with MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. We use Hotmail for our regular business email communication. Hotmail has no access to our mailbox, and we handle all our email traffic confidentially.
Payment Processors
Mollie
For handling (part of) the payments in our webshop, we use the Mollie platform. Mollie processes your name, address, residence details, and your payment information such as bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in this context, share (anonymized) data with third parties. All of the above safeguards relating to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie’s services for which they engage third parties. Mollie does not retain your data longer than is legally permitted.
Shipping and Logistics
DHL
When you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to deliver your package to you. We use DHL’s services to carry out the deliveries. For this purpose, we need to share your name, address, and residence details with DHL. DHL uses this data only for the purpose of fulfilling the agreement. If DHL engages subcontractors, DHL will also make your data available to these parties.
External Sales Channels
Bol.com
We sell (part of) our items via the Bol.com platform. If you place an order through this platform, Bol.com shares your order and personal data with us. We use this data to process your order. We handle your data confidentially and have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized use.
Purpose of the Data Processing
General Purpose of Processing
We use your data solely for the purpose of our services. This means that the processing purpose is always directly related to the order you place. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share your data with us and we wish to use this data to contact you at a later time for purposes other than at your request, we will explicitly ask for your consent. Your data will not be shared with third parties, except to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality by virtue of the agreement between them and us, an oath, or a legal obligation.

In some cases, Juwelia may be legally obliged to share your data in connection with fiscal or criminal investigations by the authorities. In such a case, we are compelled to share your data, but we will oppose it within the limits of the law.
Retention Periods
We keep your data for as long as you are our client. This means we retain your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you make such a request, we will also interpret this as a request to be forgotten. Due to applicable administrative obligations, we must retain invoices containing your (personal) data, and we will keep these for as long as the applicable term runs. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and any documents we created in response to your assignment.
Your Rights

We explain these rights below and how you can invoke them. In principle, to prevent abuse, we only send copies and transcripts of your data to your already known email address with us. If you want to receive the data at another email address or by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. All copies and transcripts of data will be sent to you in the machine-readable data format we use within our systems. You will receive a response within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation at the email address known to us that the data has been adjusted.
Right to Restriction of Processing
You always have the right to restrict the data we (have) processed that relate to you or can be traced back to you. You can make a request to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.
Right to Data Portability
You always have the right to have the data we (have) processed that relate to you or can be traced back to you, carried out by another party. You can make a request to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies of all data about you that we have processed or that have been processed by other processors or third parties on our behalf. In all likelihood, we can no longer continue providing services in such a case, as the secure linking of databases can no longer be guaranteed.
Right to Object and Other Rights
In certain cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Juwelia. If you object, we will immediately cease processing your data pending the resolution of your objection. If your objection is valid, we will provide you with copies of the data we (have) processed and then permanently cease the processing. You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies.
